The baby is almost here!

The baby is almost here. I only have two and a half weeks left. Yay! We are officially scheduled to be induced on Oct. 16th if the baby doesn't come by himself sooner. Today we went and had an ultrasound to see how big this baby was getting since CJ was so big, and this baby isn't looking like he is as big as his brother. That is a very good thing, right now he is measuring 7lb. 15 oz. and he will probably gain another pound in the next two weeks. So I will still have a big baby, but hopefully not as big as before. I just can't wait for him to get here. I want to see him and I don't want to be pregnant anymore, but at the same time I don't feel ready at all. I'm trying to get everything set up for him and our house cleaned, but sometimes it just feels like the harder I work the more I find that I need to do. Oh well ... we are just getting excited for him to be here and are happy that it is so close.

Potty Time

The last couple of weeks CJ has been getting really good at telling me when he goes potty in his diaper. I'm really happy because it is just another sign that he is getting ready to use the big boy potty. Tonight I gave him a bath and he always wants to sit on the potty after he gets out. I always let him because it is really easy because I don't have to take off any diapers. This night we were talking about going potty and getting the pee pee to come out and if he does he gets a truck. (Something that I thought would help motivate him a long time ago) So tonight he got a cold chill and I asked him if he was cold. He said yes and stood up and said "all done" When I looked into the potty there was a little puddle. I couldn't believe it. I was so proud of him. He imediately wanted the truck that I had promised him, so we took care of the pee pee and he got to flush the big, big boy potty and was really excited. Then we got his clothes on and he got to pick a truck to keep. He was so proud of himself and wanted more trucks so he imediately wanted to go sit on the potty again. Unfortanatly the second time he wasn't able to get a truck, but at least he is trying! I'm so proud of my little boy and can't believe he is growing up so fast. :)

Train Ride

CJ loves going to the mall and this is why. He loves to see the train. They don't have them at all the malls but he loves to look for the train whenever we are there. Whenever we would see it CJ was always good about just watching it drive around and never asked to ride it. But today we decided it was the day that we would let him ride it because he is always so good when we go shopping. When I asked him if he wanted to ride it he got the most excited look on his face. It was almost like he was saying "That is an option mom!" So we went over and bought out tickets. Daddy watched and took pictures and CJ and I rode the train around the mall. CJ was a little scared at first and wouldn't sit on the seat by himself so he sat on my lap. I think that worked better because then he could see out better. I wish we could ride the train everytime, CJ had such a fun time. It made his day!

Idaho Trip

I finally have pictures from our Idaho trip. yay!

The first day that we went to Carey, ID we went and looked at the farm that Grandpa C use to work at during the summers. When we were there they were feeding the bummer cows bottles of milk, and CJ got to help Grandpa feed a bottle to a baby cow.

After we left the farm we went back to the fairgrounds to eat and wait for the kids rodeo to start. While we were all just sitting around talking CJ decided he wanted to go try roping a "cow" like the older kids. He was having a lot of fun watching everyone and playing with the ropes.

At the kids rodeo they had kids 8 and under doing all of the activities. The first one they did was sheep riding. CJ thought it was really fun and would clap everytime they would open the door for a sheep to come out. Nobody rode the sheep for very long (nobody lasted 8 secs.), but CJ thought it was the best thing ever. After that he got a little bored and we decided to leave early and get him to bed.

The next day was went to see the Shoshone falls (I'm not sure if I spelled it correctly) The water wasn't very high but I thought that they were still really pretty.

We decided to get a snack before we drove out to Carey and I wanted a Jamba Juice, and CJ was just being silly inside and was squishing his face against mine and wouldn't let go of my head. We were all laughing pretty hard. :)

That night we had a BBQ at Grandpa's Aunt and Uncle's house. CJ ate really well and was having fun following the other kids around. He also had a fun time feeding Grandpa jello pudding.

He also got to ride a tractor and a dirt bike. He thought that both were really really cool.

The next day we went up to see my grandparents in Boise. While we were there we tried to go see Grandpa's horses but they didn't want to come say hi. They were out in the pasture and didn't think it was time to come in. CJ also found Grandpa's tractor and wanted to ride it.

After playing at the barn we went back and played in the backyard. CJ had fun playing on the swing set and jumping on the tramp.

He even helped Grandma look at some of her flowers.
