Christmas Day

For Christmas CJ wanted a blue bicycle from Santa, and when he went downstairs and walked into the room, he first picked up Baby L's new play gym and then walked over and looked under the Christmas tree. He walked right past the bike without even noticing anything. We finally pointed it out and he was super excited. Santa even gave him back the letter CJ wrote to him with a note back to him saying thanks for the letter. CJ thought it was really cool and couldn't wait to try out his new bike. The is Baby L in his new play gym. He loves it! He plays in it all the time. It is so great to be able to put him down and have him be entertained for a little while.
This year was super fun, CJ was really into opening everything and figuring out all the cool things that he got from Santa.

CJ gave everyone their presents from under the tree, that was his big job this year.

And after he gave the people their presents he would help them open the presents also.

CJ got a sand table from Grandma and Grandpa, we set it up downstairs and he had a ton of fun. It is still their because it has been so cold, but now we need to get it out on our balcony. He spent hours and hours playing with it, and still plays with it for a long time everytime we go down to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa.

This is all of us stainding around watching CJ play with his sand box.

And then we tried to help CJ ride his bike. He can't really ride it by himself yet. He doesn't like to turn the handlebars so we end up running into the walls, and he doesn't quite understand how to pedal yet. He always goes a little bit foreward and then instead of pushing a little harder at the bottom with his foot he starts pushing with his top foot which makes the pedals go backwards so he ends up braking instead of going foreward. But we have lots of time to practice and we have a nice big tennis court that he can learn to ride in. I'm so excited that it is getting warmer and we will be able to bring these fun outdoor presents home from Grandma's house.
