CJ's new word

CJ and I got to go play at Grandma's house all day today. We had lots of fun! But the cutest part was the new word CJ said when we were getting ready for dinner. Uncle Tyson was talking to CJ and keeping him in his seat while I was getting his food ready, then when I started putting on his bib and setting everything up Tyson went downstairs for something, but CJ still wanted him upstairs so he starts yelling, "TYS, TYS, TYS"! I thought it was so cute. He was actually calling Tyson by his name!

Easter Weekend

For Easter we went up to my parents for the weekend. The first thing Grandpa wanted to do was show CJ an owl that was sitting on a nest near their house. We went and set up the spotting scope and this is what we saw...
CJ really liked seeing another owl. Grandma and Grandpa also found a stuffed animal owl for CJ gave it to him after we went to see the owl. He now sleeps with it every night.

The next fun thing we got to go do was feed the neighbors horses some carrots. CJ even got to pet one.
That night we colored eggs. There were a lot of owls and a few other fun things. My favorites were Daddy's helicopter and train, my brothers penguin, and I really liked seeing what CJ drew. He told us that it was a kitty, some banana's and a helicopter.

Easter Morning:

Our Easter Bunny always hides our baskets. So CJ got to look for his and he was very fast at finding where it was. He was super excited about all the presents inside.

The first thing he got was the movie "The Princess and the Frog", which he loves to watch as long as we skip the first half hour where there aren't any frogs.

The next thing he found was his helicopter. He loves to fly the helicopter around the house and is always very very sad when it has to let the bateries recharge. CJ has been practicing flying the helicopter and does a good job all by himself.

The best part of Easter was the candy. (at least for CJ) He kept trying to grab candy from everyone elses baskets. He even learned how to unwrap the chocolates by himself.

I just thought this picture was cute. CJ was giving Grandpa loves with his pooh bear and owl, after all the excitement of finding easter baskets.

Meet Mr. D and Dumbo

For Easter CJ got some frogs from his grandma and grandpa. He likes to watch them swim around and has to show everyone who comes to our house. He even named them himself. He told me the first one was "D" and the next one was "Bo" (that is how he says Dumbo). And he has kept the same names for them, I ask him everyday what the frogs names are and he always answers the same. I love hearing him tell me about them, he has had so much fun with his first pets.

Cool Dude!

We went shopping with CJ this week and I found some really cute Lightning McQueen sunglasses for him. We have been telling him he is a cool dude when he wears them. He really likes to wear them when we are in the car because he doesn't like when the sun is in his face.

Update

I have just a few little stories and pictures to update everyone on what we have been up to lately since I have been really bad at posting the last few weeks.

1) CJ decided one morning that he needed to workout. He use to work out with Daddy in the mornings until School started. And he was working out really well until I pulled out the camera. After that all he wanted to do was look at the pictures of "The baby" (CJ) so he was really sad when I told him to play with the weights again.

2) A few weeks ago CJ had an eye infection and he wasn't feeling good one day so we were watching Dumbo. While we were watching CJ decided that he needed a tent to lay in. So we built a tent and a bed for him. After about five min. he didn't want to lay down anymore because he couldn't breathe so he stood by his tent instead.

3) I bought CJ some bathtime markers because I wanted something new to do in the tub. Well CJ loved them and we do them almost every time we take a bath. He is becoming quite the artist. And last night he found out that he can color on himself. He had blue, red, and green marks all over his arms, legs and tummy. He looked like a little indian boy. :) I just wish I had the camera with me.

4) New Shoes! CJ finally got new shoes. And now he is into the little boy shoes. While we were looking he didn't really care what shoes he got, they just had to be blue. Here he is showing off his new shoes.

The End!
